Upcoming Nokia 5900 Xpressmusic Mobile Phone Leaks Out?

Tuesday, May 12, 2009 Posted by John 0 comments
Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone is one of the successful devices presented by the company. It now appears that the finnish mobile phone manufacturer is rumored to launch a new phone called the Nokia 5900 XpressMusic, reports SlashGear.

It is reported that the new Nokia phone will sport a slim design and large 3.5inch touchscreen display. Apparently, the phone bundles up a 5 megapixel camera that should allow capturing clear and bright images as compared to the 3.2 megapixel camera integrated on the 5800.

This phone is speculated to include a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, it is expected to run on a Symbian S60 5th Edition OS. Supposedly, the leaked images of this phone are coming through a source from China and from the images, it can be judged that the phone will be available in two distinct colors.

Images claiming to show Nokia’s follow-up to the 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen cellphone, the Nokia 5900 XpressMusic, have leaked, and while there’s no confirmation that these are legitimate they certainly look the part. Believed to include a larger, 3.5-inch touchscreen, 3.5mm headphone jack and 5-megapixel camera, the 5900 XpressMusic is expected to run the same Symbian S60 5th Edition OS as its predecessor.

What confuses matters is that an entirely different page is suggesting that, rather than the 5900 XpressMusic, the images are of the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, another media-centric touchscreen handset but not the 5800’s successor. Instead, it’s said to use the same 3.2-megapixel camera, paired with a 2.9-inch display.

BlackBerry Storm 2 Smart Mobile Phone Will Launch in September

Tuesday, May 5, 2009 Posted by John 0 comments
Research In Motion (RIM) will debut an upgraded BlackBerry Storm 2 Smart Phone in September, SlashGear is reporting. According to "a source very close to the issue," the BlackBerry Storm 2 mobile will support Wi-Fi-a significant omission in the first-generation BlackBerry Storm mobile, which debuted last fall on Verizon Wireless.

The man at the helm of the affairs, RIM CEO Jim Ballsillie, has reportedly confirmed that RIM is currently "engineering" the BlackBerry Storm successor and will target the untapped mainstream consumer audience, which now comprises more than half of the 25 million RIM subscribers.

The report offers few BlackBerry Storm 2 Mobile details, but it's likely that RIM will upgrade the Storm's much-maligned SurePress click screen, which many reviewers reported was sluggish and awkward to use. Since the BlackBerry Storm is RIM's answer to the iPhone, a mediocre interface would likely be the first issue to address.

Recent rumors say the BlackBerry Storm 2 mobile will also include a 5-megapixel camera, an upgraded display, and a screen keyboard that's easier to type on. A slide-out keyboard? Probably not. If Blackberry fans want a physical keyboard, they already have plenty of worthy options, including the BlackBerry Curve and the BlackBerry Pearl.

Despite its shortcomings, the BlackBerry Storm has proven very popular. It was the third best selling consumer smart phone in the U.S. last quarter, according to market research firm The NPD Group.

RIM seems to be making all the right moves now. The BlackBerry Storm's sibling, the more traditional BlackBerry Curve, bumped the iPhone out of the top spot to become America's most popular smart phone in Q1 2009.

Nokia E75 Email Mobile Phone Launched in India

Friday, April 17, 2009 Posted by John 0 comments
Nokia E75 MobileNokia today unveiled the new addition to its Eseries range, Nokia E75. Nokia, the world leader in mobility industry, has finally launched one of their latest additions to the E-Series range of business class mobile phone, the Nokia E75 with Nokia Messaging Service (push email)m, which mobilizes email solutions on Nokia mobile.

The Nokia E75 mobile is the first mobile from Nokia's stable to offers complete integration of email and messaging services. THe Nokia E75 Slider Mobile also provides an easy 3 step process for instant email set up and supports upto 16 email accounts.

Speaking at the launch, Vineet Taneja, Marketing Director, Nokia India said, "Business mobility is now a necessity. The prosumers and enterprises in India are fast realizing that mobile business solutions can help provide a competitive advantage. The power-packed Nokia E75 with Nokia Messaging Service is the definite efficiency tool that offers the complete mobile email functionality and gives consumers an enriched and easy to use email experience while on the move. Connecting to and using email now on will be as easy as using SMS giving people the choice of applications they want to use and when they want to use."

The stylish Nokia E75 mobile offers the best-in class corporate and consumer email experience via pre installed Nokia Messaging push email service.The Nokia E75 mobile boasts full desktop email functionality along with both standard keypad and QWERTY keypad to give an ease-of use experience to consumers across categories.

Nokia E75 Email MobileThe Nokia E75 isn't quite as loaded with features as expected, as for starters it only supports 3.6Mbit HSDPA which is not exactly cutting edge by today's standards. As this is primarily a business mobile, the 320x240 resolution display is somewhat disappointing, although we can't complain too much about the 3.2 Megapixel camera considering the target market.

However, things improve from here as Nokia has managed to add both WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and aGPS support.

Nokia E75 mobile supports MP3, AAC, Nokia podcast and Windows Media Player. The player is also compatible with polyphonic, MP3, video and talking ringtones. The phone also incorporates Ovi services, Nokia Maps and Nokia's games service N-Gage

Nokia E75 Email PhoneNokia E75 mobile has a built in FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microUSB connector (that's smaller than the normal mini USB), a microSDHC card slot and a forward facing camera for video calls. Software feature include Nokia maps, dual home screens (as per the E71) and office document viewers.

The Nokia E75 offers quad band GSM and dual band WCDMA (900/2100MHz), so it should work in most of the world which makes it a decent handset for those that travel a lot.

However, it seems like Nokia has decided to go with a mere 1,000mAh batter, compared to a 1,500mAh battery for the Nokia E71 which will most likely mean fairly poor battery life for the Nokia E75.

Nokia E75 Email Mobile India

Nokia E75 and Nokia Messaging Service:

* The Nokia E75 will support all features of Nokia Messaging Service - an array of third party email solutions, namely Gmail, Yahoo, Rediffmail, Sify, Indiatimes, Net4, Hotmail and In.com amongst others, thereby providing direct access to over 90 percent of the world's corporate inboxes as well.
* It supports consumer friendly intuitive user interface that offers two customizable home screen modes for business as well as personal mode.
* Nokia E75 displays alerts for upto two email accounts on the home screen, ensures quick navigation and switching between email accounts and displays the first line of the mail under the subject line.

Its other features include -

* 2.4 inch TFT LCD (240 x 320 pixels)
* 3.5mm earphone socket
* MicroSD card support
* EDGE/GPRS, 3G with HSDPA
