LG launches an entry-level GM series phone in Ukraine

LG Mobiles has recently unveiled an entry level handset from its GM series. Dubbed LG GM200, the new device is the third to be included in the series.
The LG GM200 is a simple candybar mobile phone that packs Dolby Mobile technology, along with stereo speakers. The handset is also equipped with a great range of multimedia features, such as music and video players, as well as a built-in FM antenna. The company has also added a background noise sensor, to automatically adjust the volume whenever necessary.
Among its list of other specifications are a 2-inch TFT display with 176 x 220 pixel resolution and support for 262K colors, as well as a 2-megapixel photo snapper that sports video recording capabilities.
The LG GM200 candybar features GSM/GPRS connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and 30MB of internal memory with a microSD expandable memory card slot for additional storage. The handset measures 106 x 48 x 14.7 mm and looks good.
The LG GM200 will be available in Ukraine by May, with a price tag set at 1,190 Ukrainian grivnas (around €110 or $148). The company might launch it in other countries in the near future.
