Samsung is not just on a new models churn out spree, it seems. The Korean giant recently unveiled the worlds largest mobilephone. This one's huge, mind you.
US Service provider Cricket, in collaboration with Samsung has placed this huge working model of the Samsung Messenger phone. If you're somewhere near Chicago, you might be able to see this one at Fidelity Plaza.

The fully functional phone has been recognized by Guinness World Records representatives as the worlds largest phone. The device measures 11 feet by 15 feet; and is an enlarged version of Samsungs upcoming phone, the Samsung Messenger that is scheduled to release on March 15 in the US. The previous record was set by Sony Ericsson which had back in 2007, made a W850i, 2.5m x 1.14m in size. Samsung's phone is almost 5 times bigger than the Sony Ericsson.
As mentioned, this one is a fully functional device and you can call, send text messages, perform almost everything that the normal version can.
