Just before the festive season kicks off,Targeting the coming diwali festive season, Samsung Mobile has further strengthened its popular low cost Guru series with the launch of three new mobile phones - Guru 2120, Guru 2130 and Guru 1160 in the Indian market.

The launch of Samsung Guru 2120 and Samsung Guru 2130 marks the introduction of the camera feature in the Samsung Guru series mobile phones.

"With features like VGA camera with recording capability, MP3 Playback, Wireless Stereo FM Bluetooth and an expandable memory up to 2GB available in the Samsung Guru Series, we are raising the bar for affordable mobile entertainment", said Asim Warsi , GM-Marketing , Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Samsung Guru 2120

The Samsung Guru 2120 is a complete multimedia phone with an elegant design .It comes with a VGA camera that allows users to not only click images, but also shoot videos.
Samsung Guru 2120 Features are as Under:
* 1.5-inch CSTN display with 128 x 128 pixels and 65k colors
* GPRS/WAP for net connectivity
* Bluetooth, USB
* One-Click shortcut to Music player
* FM radio (with or without handsfree), with recorder
* VGA camera with an image editor
* MicroSD card support (up to 2GB)

Some of the other features include settings called Bike Mode/Whisper Mode, Advanced Mobile tracker and Mobile prayer 2.0 in 4 Indian religions. The handset will also be equipped to handle 9 regional languages. The Guru 2120 comes with a 1000mAh battery that the company claims will be able to provide talk time up to 11 hours. Samsung Guru 2130

The second handset Samsung Guru 2130 has powerful dual loud speakers for an amazing sound, whether one is listening to music or trying to hear the ring tone in a noisy crowd. Samsung Guru 2130 Quite like the Guru 2120, it comes with a VGA Camera and Video recorder and also supports external memory via micro SD cards up to 2GB. It also has an internal antenna for the radio that enables the user to listen to the FM anytime, anywhere without any earphones. Safety features like Mobile tracker and functions like Bike Mode and Mobile Prayer 2.0 are also on board. It comes with 4 embedded JAVA games as well. Samsung Guru 2130 is priced at Rs. 3600 /-

Samsung Guru 1160

The company Samsung also launched the Guru 1160, touting it as a 'value for money' package. This dual band phone comes with Wireless Stereo FM powered with Dual Loud Speakers, a bright Torch Light, MP3 Ringtones, 1000 mAh battery which Samsung says will give users a talk time of up to 12.3 hours and stand by time of up to 30 days, as well as innovative features like the Bike Mode that prioritizes the user’s calls so that only the important calls are answered automatically using the earphones, while riding a two wheeler. It also supports 7 regional languages. Samsumg Guru 1160 is priced at Rs. Rs.2249 /-

The Samsung Guru 2120, Samsung 2130 and the Samsung Guru 1160 are priced at Rs. 3,240, Rs. 3,600 and Rs.2249 respectively.
