Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of the SAMSUNG Anycall S5500H. This price-competitive and stylish slider phones give practical-minded users all the essential 3G features they need to enjoy a new kind of mobile multimedia experience. User can turn on their favourite features quickly and conveniently by using Shortcut Toolbar in idle mode.

The S5500H – Sleek style in your pocket

Housed in a compact form, the SAMSUNG Anycall S5500H helps users exude a stylish sophistication through its ergonomic edging, polished surface and 14.8mm slim form. While the phone easily provides a comfortable fit in the hands, it also ensures the security of the device even when it is being held or used in one-handed texting.

Despite its compact form, the SAMSUNG Anycall S5500H has a 2.2-inch QVGA screen with large number dialing feature, which gives customers a grander and easier viewing of text messages, web surfing, and making calls. The wide and long keypad also prevents users from mistakenly pressing buttons when dialing or composing text messages. In addition to these intimate physical features, the camera shooting key on the side of the phone also further enhances its overall usability.

The SAMSUNG Anycall S5500H allows users to surf the Internet at speeds as fast as 3.6Mbps thanks to the fast HSDPA (3.5G) connection. Whether doing a web search, checking email, or reading up-to-date news or blog entries on the RSS reader, everything is faster. The 3G connection also enables video calling so customers can see who they are talking with in real time.

A whole new multimedia experience – S5500H

SAMSUNG Anycall S5500H is equipped with rich multimedia features. It comes with a 3.2 Mega-pixel camera with Smile Shot, music player and FM radio.

Customers can easily get connected to popular social networking sites, including Facebook and MySpace, by using the special Shortcut Toolbar when in idle mode. The toolbar can be customized to hold up to 15 shortcuts for quick, one-click access to their favorite features. Customers can then instantly upload photos or video from the phone using the Communities feature.

With 15 MB of internal memory and microSDHC (up to 8 GB) support, users can store favorite songs, photos, and videos. Bluetooth V2.0 and USB 2.0 provide fast connections to mobile peripherals, PCs and other devices for more convenient file transfers. The special Fake Call feature also allows users to detach themselves from unwanted situations with a simulation of the phone ringing.
