Sony Ericsson expanded its line of 'Xperia' comprising Xperia X1 and Xperia X2 series by including the much awaited "Xperia X10". The code name is 'Rachael' and it was previously rumored to be named the "X3" or "X5". The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 takes a step out of the contemporary by launching the latest OS for mobile phones- the "Android" launched by Google. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is the first Android device by Sony Ericsson. The phone had a phenomenal hype preceding the release. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 relies wholly on its huge 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen for operating the phone. The phone is provided with three hardware buttons; A menu button, A home button and a ‘Back’ button. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has a volume rocker on the side along with the camera button.
