Samsung has announced a new world's slimmest watch phone, the S9110. While the LG GD910 watch phone is coming to some europe countries next month, Samsung has further slimming the watch phone with its S9110 which features a 11.98mm thickness compare to 13.9mm thickness on LG GD910.

The Samsung S9110 is a direct competitor to arch rival LG's GD910 watch phone that the world came to know about not long ago. Samsung seems to have pipped LG to announce and launch this phone before the LG GD910 is seen in stores.

Korean electronics giant LG has announced the launch of three new low-end mobile phones in Indian market. These three mobile phones are LG KP265 Slider mobile, LG GB210 Candybar mobile, and LG GB270 mobile phone. These new handsets have some pretty funky designs.

These all mobile phones fall in the entry-level category considering their specifications. While these may lack high-end features like GPS or 3G support, all the three LG mobile phones provide staggering amounts of talk time ranging from 9 to 10.5 hours.

It comes with 4GB if expandable memory and a feature called "RockeTalk" that lets you stay connected to friends right from your phone. RockeTalk, as the name sounds, is a social networking and instant messengers aggregation application. This rocking feature lets you log onto Gtalk, Yahoo Messenger or send a message in any combination of text, voice, pictures, audio or video to anyone, anywhere in the world. The feature includes -

Even though it comes with a VGA camera, it has a plethora options that make it look like a phone with much higher camera capabilities. Mobile phone cameras have taken a step in another direction with Samsung gearing up for the release of a mobile phone with an infra red camera on board. The mobile phone being, called the SCH-W760 will allow users to make video calls in the dark by using infra red rays to illuminate areas in the picture.

Wireless carrier AT&T and mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson announced today the launch of two new mobile phones in the United States, namely the Sony Ericsson C905a Cyber-shot and the Sony Ericsson W518a Walkman mobile phones. According to the companies, the two handsets are capable of providing a leveraged social networking experience to mobile phone users in the country, while also being designed to encourage self-expression and to deliver enhanced photography capabilities.

The new Sony Ericsson C905a Cyber-shot comes to the carrier's airwaves with an 8.1-megapixel photo snapper, becoming this way the highest resolution cameraphone available with AT&T. Moreover, the phone's camera also comes with attractive features, including face detection, auto focus, xenon flash and geo-tagging.

The second new mobile phone, the Sony Ericsson W518a Walkman, includes a variety of entertainment features, such as conversational messaging, leveraged Facebook connectivity, attractive music capabilities, as well as a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper. The two companies also announced that those interested on learning more about the W518a should follow the W518a Facebook page here.

"Sony Ericsson has created two signature phones that enhance the quality of photography and social networking on a phone and take advantage of exciting AT&T services like AT&T Navigator and Video Share," Michael Woodward, vice president, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, says. According to the wireless carrier, both the new Sony Ericsson C905a Cyber-shot and the Sony Ericsson W518a Walkman mobile phones are expected to become available for purchase on the company's site and at AT&T stores starting July 19. The Sony Ericsson C905a Cyber-shot device, the carrier adds, comes with a price tag of $179.99 with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. The Sony Ericsson W518a Walkman comes with a price tag of $49.99 under the same conditions. The mail-in rebate will turn into a $50 AT&T Promotion Card, the carrier explains.
