Monday, February 28, 2011
Nexus One users who have been waiting all this time to get in on the Gingerbread action will finally be relieved. Google is pushing the brand new 2.3.3 update to both the Nexus One as well as the Nexus S users simultaneously. As usual, the update won't be available to every Nexus users out there instantly, but you will soon see a notification on your phone asking you to update. So far we haven't had any luck with the Nexus One that we have with us but since we have waited all this time a few days more won't hurt.
List of changes include more NFC-related features to the Nexus S, such as the ability to write, as well as read, to NFC tags and act as an NFC device itself. It also addresses the problem where the device would randomly reboot, along with several other bug fixes. Also, the Facebook for Android application would no longer be able to integrate your Facebook contacts with your phone contacts.
