Nokia Launches Nokia 2690, Nokia 1800, Nokia 1616 & Nokia 1280: Affordable Mobile Phones in India

Nokia today announced the launch of four new affordable mobile phones - the Nokia 2690, Nokia 1800, Nokia 1616 and Nokia 1280 for entry level consumers in Karnataka. The portfolio has a phone for everyone with relevant features such as first time access to the internet, music with 3.5 mm Audio Visual connector, up to 22 days battery standby time, flashlight, dust resistant keypad, anti-scratch cover, multiple phone books, speaking clock in several local languages among others.
Nokia 2690, Nokia 1800 and Nokia 1616 also offer Nokia Life Tools, an SMS-based service that gives consumers access to locally relevant agriculture information and also helps them learn English. All the new mobile phones come with a standard warranty and are backed by Nokia's product quality and unparalleled care promise across the length and breadth of the country.
The flagship Nokia 2690 is available immediately, and the Nokia 1800, 1616 and 1280 will be available in stores in the next few weeks. These stylish and easy-to-use mobile phones will be available across 200,000 Nokia retail outlets across all Indian states including remote areas in Karnataka.

Nokia 2690

Available at Rs. 2749/-, Nokia 2690 is Nokia's most affordable product supporting an 8GB expandable memory card. It also offers features such as Nokia Life Tools, internet browsing, VGA camera, MP3 music player and FM radio with 3.5 mm Audio Visual connector.
Nokia 1800
This mobile phone has a shiny/glossy finish and comes with offerings like the Nokia Life Tools service, up to 22 hours of standby time, stereo FM radio, flashlight, speaking clock in local languages, multiple phone books, large contact storage and a Calendar with reminders among others.
Nokia 1616
Nokia 1616 will be the lowest priced Nokia Life Tools compatible device available in the market. The mobile phone comes with a large TFT colour screen with 65,536 colours. Other features include flashlight with short cut key, anti-dust keypad, anti scratch body, speaking clock in local languages, vibration alert, stereo FM radio with support for a 3.5 mm Audio Visual connector, MP3 grade ring tones and up to 22 hours of battery standby by time.
Nokia 1280
Nokia's lowest-priced mobile phone to date is designed specifically for people in rural areas who require a reliable mobile phone. Highly dust resistant, with a tactile keypad and anti-scratch cover, the Nokia 1280 includes a flashlight, extended battery life of up to 22 days, loud MP3-grade ringtones, speaking clock in local languages, FM radio support with 3.5 mm Audio Visual connector and a phone book for up to five different users.
